How to sign up and accept an invitation to Valuable:
https://youtube.com/shorts/uXSfkauhxBI?feature=share
Welcome back to Valuable. We're gonna learn how to accept an invitation to someone else's organization. In another video, we invited a a leader of our new franchise organization at Sunshine State Sales. And that person needs to sign up and accept their invitation. So let's do that. They don't have an account yet.
So instead of logging in, they're gonna hit sign up. They're gonna get an email as well. But even if they don't get that email, it doesn't matter because they can just sign up and the invitation will appear on their on their, screen. We will see that in a second. And easy peasy. Eight characters contains a number, contains a letter, and accept so I see my email, , on my, , computer, or you could go to your email on, on your phone as well, so now I, I've verified my email and I can just click the, I've verified my email button and here I am. I'm invaluable, and I have an invitation to franchise one.
Now, in this case, I could create my own account. I'm not going to though because I'm just joining someone else's. And you don't have to create your own account to use valuable. You can use someone else's. If you did create your own account, then you would, , be paying whatever is required to, , to add things to that account.
So in this case, I don't wanna do that. I wanna, I want to join this, , other account that is already operating. So here I am. And now I am in, sunshine Estate Sales. And if I go into if I tap on the lower left hand corner, I see Sunshine Estate Sales, and I see Franchise one. And that is the, , organization I have been added to and.
I can look in here and I can see that I'm , a group administrator by hitting manage members and sure enough, there are two of us in here now. Franchise one and Franchisee two, and that is it. That is how you join someone else's organization. , We'll go into adding projects and further organizing your account in another video
How to Invite Members:
https://youtube.com/shorts/_rqCy23dGjc?feature=share
Welcome back to Valuable. Here's how to organize your team and invite members. So you're in a brand new organization. You are part of Sunshine Estate Sales, which is a larger organization, and you are a franchisee. And in this case,, you don't own the organization as somebody else, but you can manage your own.
So in, so the first thing you do is go to the lower left hand navigation button that looks like a folder. Tap it, and you'll see that you're in the accounts. And you can go in and there's your, franchise, one creative name, and you can rename it and you can invite members, manage them, et cetera.
As the group administrator, you will have you will have access to all of these. Options. But if you are if you you invite somebody as a member or a guest, they'll have fewer options. So again, you tap on the right hand, three dot option button, and you invite a member. So you're going to invite your your first member, and we'll call this, and I get that name right,
and then you select a role. In this case, let's say you're inviting your very first your, one of your leaders in your team, and you wanna make them an administrator because you want to have them set up folders and projects and invite other members. That's the group administrator's role.
If you have somebody that's just adding items to projects that you control, you don't want them changing who's has access and you don't want them to, add and modify and move projects and or in your organization around, then invite them as a member. Now let's do it as a group administrator, and you're gonna just simply send that invite.
And that is it. You can of course manage members as well and you'll see pending invitations and and that's it. You can also go to app, valuable app and manage this sort of thing from there, from your computer or browser. And that is all it takes to add a member to your organization. Then you can also create a new project inside this top level organization or inside here inside your first root folder.
You can create a new project and we'll go into creating projects and other folders in another video.
Bulk Upload Photos
welcome to another Valuable How to. In this video we're going to talk about one of my favorite features, the bulk upload feature. So of course we have talked about the camera in other videos and how the valuable camera can capture multiple. Photos for each individual item, and that's terrific. But if you have used your iPhone camera for any reason, whether you just love it or you just happen to take a bunch of pictures with your iPhone camera or your Android camera, then you can still get those into valuable.
Valuable collects inventory items that can have multiple pictures. So you have to be able to do that from bulk upload. Let's do that. So here we have our project 1 23 Middlefield Lane, and we can go in there and we can hit the plus button and we see bulk upload of photos. So we're gonna do that.
We're gonna grab that, and here we have our the photos that we've captured with our iPhone camera and notice that I could just start selecting photos, right? I could say I want this one, I want this one. Wait a minute. I don't want that one. And that one, because those are of the same item.
So of course what we really wanna do is stack them. So let's do that. Let's take this back of the, and long press it for about a second or two, and you'll see the border will come up and it says, tap on another photo or stack to stack this photo. So let's do that. We'll tap on, we could scroll up and down or we could just tap on that the photo.
Now we have two photos for one item. Do we have any other photos that we want in this item? Yeah, we sure do. We have this one over here. We'll put that one. Actually I don't want that one. So I'll cancel that and I'll use this other one in the middle. And I'll tap on my stack and now I have three items I can tap on the stack and see.
Yep. I like that. I've got all three items. Now do we have any other photos? We have multiple pictures of the same thing. Sure enough, we have that clock. So I've got that back of the clock and that's gonna help me identify the item. So I'm gonna long press on that and tap the photo to stack it with.
Okay. And then, let's see, are there any others? Not yet this peacock. I wanted to take the peacock and do the same thing. I'm going to say I'm gonna get this photo tap to peacock and this photo tap to the peacock. I think that's enough. So why don't we try that. We'll hit select now and tap the stack of three pictures. I also want this one picture of the fruit. I didn't take multiple pictures of that, and that's fine. I have my g no bank up there, and I have this picture and I have this one too.
I'm gonna hit save. And now I have all items uploading to valuable. Now I can go to home and look and see. Sure enough, I have a queue that is already uploading and if I'm in a low bandwidth area or off the network, these are just going to wait until they can get enough internet to upload.
Properly so you don't have to worry about being online to capture these. You can do 'em and they will upload as they go over time. And sure enough they're all done, we're all caught up. And if we go back into the project, we will see all the new photos that we just created. And in another video we'll go into reviewing those, but that is the bulk uploader feature for valuable.
How to capture inventory items with the camera
Welcome to another Valuable How to Video. This video is all about the camera in the valuable app. Valuable is a way to capture inventory items for sale with your camera. So it's important to be able to capture more than one picture per item. So our camera is specially designed to do that. Here we're gonna open up the camera, and here we have our subject. We want to take a, we want to capture this lovely peacock statue, and we're going to take a shot right away.
And here we have a brand new shot of our peacock and you'll see that it pops up as a thumbnail in the left hand. We can take up to six items. We can take up to six shots per item. And we can also take some notes about it. We can tap our little microphone button there and say this is a vintage peacock made in Italy, and we can even get a little shot of it here.
I'll turn off my recording and you can say They made in Italy, we can get another shot. And all of these shots are gonna be useful for. Capturing the item and identifying it and pricing it. If we want to get those thumbnails outta the way, we just tap that button and collapse the thumbnails and we can tap it again to see them again.
And we can really line up our shot very carefully with letter boxing so we can use the aspect ratio of full. That'll give you a full frame shot. You can. Have a four by three shot, 16 by nine. You can even have it in landscape of course. And that'll take an, a landscape shot. So maybe we want to have that shot like that and let's take a look at that.
Yeah, that's a really good shot. And we might wanna letterbox that or we want, might want to even have better light on the subject. So let's do that. And now we have a nice shot of made in Italy. Alright and because we got that nicer shot with the flash we can get rid of that other shot.
So you just tap on the little X on the thumbnail. And now we have three nice shots of this peacock. Now you notice. That what we wouldn't want to do now is take a shot of the canover or the the candlestick holder. That would be another item. So what we wanna always remember is to tap the checkbox.
Now, before we do that. We're gonna see if we like our notes. I can edit this out. And these notes are very helpful for identifying the item as well. So we wanna make sure that whenever we know something about an item that isn't obvious in the picture, we wanna make sure to take some notes.
And it doesn't have to be perfect because the AI will figure out what you wanna say, and that is it. So now we have three 📍 shots. So let's go into the save and continue taking photos. So you just tap the gearbox button and you have some options.
You can save with ai, you can save to inventory without ai, and they'll just capture the pictures or you can save and continue taking photos. And that's really handy if you want to take a lot of photos all at once. So I'm gonna switch over full mode. I'm gonna take this shot. Whoa. Before I'm gonna do that, I want to hit save so I can save that peacock.
Otherwise, the new item will think it's a peacock and a candlestick holder. We don't want that. So we, now we can take this shot. That's my new candlestick holder and that saved it. I'll do this final one. And I like the this is a round item, so I'm gonna use that one by one aspect ratio. And there it is. And I'm going to take a shot of the back. And now I have. A two shot item and I'm gonna save that. And at this point now I can just hit the Xbox on the left top of the screen and I'm back out.
And you can see that all of these items have been uploaded. I didn't have to worry about waiting for those shots to upload to valuable.
So you don't have to worry about being in a basement or some other place where you can't take pictures. You can always take pictures with the valuable camera. And that's it. Now we have our wonderful peacock and it's all ready to price, and we'll do that in another video.
How to edit photos
https://youtube.com/shorts/6dr_Vx8OORg?feature=share
Welcome to another Valuable How to Video. we covered how to capture items for your inventory with the camera and another video. And now we're going to
edit. And and improve those photos. So, let's go into the peacock that I took in the last video, and you'll see that we have this lovely peacock statue, and we have three pictures of it the valuable camera allows you to take multiple pictures per item. That's really important because as you can see. The item has I been identified as an Italian ceramic peacock figurine. And part of the reason is because we took the picture of its stamp and that helped identify it as a ceramic peacock figurine from Italy.
And we also have some notes about that, that we recorded when we were in the dictation mode of the camera. So that's all terrific. But they're really not great pictures, are they? They're a little bit dim. This one has, was captured in landscaped and 16 by nine. So the first thing, let's, let's crop this so we can crop it by selecting picture and touching the crop tool.
And we can crop that right down. Make it a little bit better. And there, so we have a, we can rotate it left and right. In this case we don't need to do that, but we can save it. But this peacock figurine is not super well lit and I think we can do better.
So let's do that. We tap on this little magic twinkle button here on the left of bottom, left of the. Image and it'll bring up this enhancement options. Scroll up and you'll see that we have three default ways of improving this item. So let's put it on a white background and you'll see that there are instructions that we can edit, in fact, so you can change what the editing instructions say.
But right now we're just gonna use the preset white background. And we're gonna hit enhance image.
And there we have it. We have a new, we have a cleaned up, well lit image of. The peacock, let's take a look. That's pretty nice. We could have put it on a black background. We could have just cleaned up the clutter around it which is really handy if you've got a very cluttered room with say, a beautiful bed in it and you can't get a good shot.
Just clean up the image. It'll make the bed and move everything off of it, but it won't change the nature of the item. And that's the important thing. So this is a really handy tool for saving time not having to line up every single shot and yet still getting a pretty accurate picture of the image that we think will help you get a much cleaner, more marketable image of the item that you can upload to marketing sites, and we'll do that in another video.
How to price an item for sale
Welcome back to another valuable How to Video. In this video, we're going to learn how to price an item for sale. So here we are in our valuable project. We have this 1, 2, 3 Middlefield Lane. We can open it up by tapping the open button, and here we see all of the items that we've captured. But here we're going to just tap on an item that has been uploaded, and here we see that it's a 1994 American Gold Eagle, one ounce coin. We can see all of our notes and description. We have some history on this and we can see all the basic details now. We could just hit the suggest price really quick if you go right into the item after you've captured it, it might take a few seconds to generate but once it's here you can see, we have already 4,500 as the market value of this item according to this pricing agent. Now, how did it make this decision about the price? For one thing, it's smart enough to go and check today's spot prices for gold, and that used that as a baseline, but it didn't just stop there. Let's go out and take a look at comparables. So we capture comparables for all the items that we find and we can set the default to just those that 📍 are confirmed as sold prices that is an auction or a hammer price.
And in this case, we see that only one was found that has a sold price, and it's a really high number, right? $93,000. If we go into that and we can tap on it and take a look at the item in its website in this case, Stax powers. We can learn all about that item, but won't, we won't do that right now.
We can also uncheck the sold. Only we can see a whole bunch of other comparables. But as you can see, these comparables are all over the map. So we have to be smarter about the price that we suggest than just using comparables. And I bet if you've been doing a lot of pricing, you know what I'm talking about when it comes to searching around the web and going to different websites, logging in, maybe even maintaining subscriptions on some of these pricing sites.
And all of that is cost and time and effort. And here you just want to get the price. So another thing that the pricing agent does is check the context of the sale.
And in this case, we've identified this as an estate sale working in Raleigh, North Carolina and having a middle class neighborhood context. So it's taking all of this into account when pricing this item. Of course if we try to price it on that sold price only. You would try to price it at $93,000.
That'd be crazy, right? So the final suggest price agent takes all of that into account and makes a pretty good case for $500. And if you buy that, you can hit the button right there and there you go. Or if you disagree with it, you can. You can argue with it, you can discuss it.
You can even give it more context by just chatting with it and hitting the chat button. Or you can just simply put the number that you think it's worth in the price. And even that action is teaching your agent something about how you price, because it's looking at all those comparables.
And all this context and saying my boss set this price differently than I did and I'm gonna learn from that in the future. So that's pricing invaluable. The goal isn't for valuable to give you an appraisal price or to give you all these comparables.
Those are just means to an end. The end is getting you to a place where you are confident in setting your own price. As fast as possible. You have all of the information at your fingertips and you have the ability to make the call. That's the goal, and we'll see you in the next video.
I.
How to snap pictures like a pro
Welcome to another Valuable How to Video here. We're gonna talk about the camera a little bit more. We've already talked about it a quite a bit, but now we're gonna talk about some of the additional features in the camera. So we're going to open up our camera here, which we can do right from the, , home screen or from the, , project screen.
Here's our, , camera. What we have in the upper right hand corner is a set of features that you might see on any phone, but a couple of 'em are really important and valuable, and one of them is your aspect ratio and the other is zoom. So with aspect ratio, you wanna make sure that you have the right aspect ratio for the right job.
We originally had this set to a default of the full screen, and that would give you. Quite a good shot if you're far away. And we will add the full frame of your camera sensor. So you'll get the most pixels for your photo.
However, for most professionals. want more precision, so use the aspect ratio four by three or one of my favorites, one by one, and then you can get the perfect shot and it will go in exactly as it's supposed to. And then you can add more photos, of course, and we've done that in other videos, but the aspect ratio is super important and it's not the same. As the zoom, you can zoom in with your fingers by pinching and splaying, which is something many users know how to do on an iPhone or an Android.
But if you're not comfortable with that, you can also open the Zoom toggle and then you can use these settings. Now, the other thing you can do is add filters, at least on an iPhone. You can have different filters just your typical iPhone camera or Instagram.
And that, that can be great for lining up shots. Or you can do that later on with photo enhancement with our magic photo enhancement tool that we've covered in another video. So those are the other things you can do. Flash obviously is self-explanatory. You do have a nice torch that will stay lit throughout your camera session.
You can tap on that thing to get rid of your thumbnails. You can tap on the filters to get rid of the filters and tap it again to bring it back. And now let's talk about tapping. So if you're really close to an item and you want to tap.
To focus farther away. You can do that. It'll set the, as the contrast and the focus and it does that very well. And then finally you have these options for saving. You can save with ai, you can save to inventory, and you can save and continue taking photos, which is really good because that way you can say, all right I've already got one.
Photo of this, and that's the only photo I want. And now I want another photo of this, but I really don't like that photo. I'm not gonna use it because it's not in the right aspect ratio. So I'm gonna use 16 by nine because it'll get the full height and see how, if I position it between the letter boxes, between the gray areas, I know I'm getting the right shot.
And now I have a good shot of that. I'm gonna save that. I can go really fast from here, I'll get another shot of this guy and, oops, I don't want to do that. Remember from the other video if you've been watching our hot two videos, now I've got two items that are not the same, so that's no good.
Alright, we're gonna get rid of that. We're gonna save the one item and then I'm gonna go in and save another. I'm gonna just get that from my gallery and I'm gonna save that now I've got that from my gallery and I was able to do that because I have saved new photos to gallery on. I can also turn that off. And as you can see, when I take a shot of this guy and I go into the gallery. That guy's not there. Some people really love that.
Other people really like to have the gallery on, and you can do it either way. And that is how we do the camera. I'll see you in another video
How to move projects and folders
https://youtube.com/shorts/UoVmCcAjS0I?feature=share
Welcome to another Valuable How to Video. In this video we're going to show you, in a previous video, we showed you how to move. Items from one project to another, even between projects in entirely different accounts. As you'll remember from those videos, if you've been watching we've set up our own personal family account and we also have the Sunshine Estate sales account where we work.
And in that case, we are able to go over to Sunshine Estate Sales and see all of the projects and folders that are in. That account. Or we can go over, back, over to our family and to and organize our homes or our family accounts what have you. We pay for our family account and of course the Sunshine Estate Sales Company pays for its account.
We've just, we are just a member. Alright, so here we are and we want to move a project from one location to another. Let's do it. So let's get into so let's move this old project that we have from one account to another. We're going to move this project from, for whatever reason, we wanna move it from the estate sales company to our personal account. I'm gonna go into the project
a couple ways we can do this. We can move the whole project by tapping the menu bar the menu. We can tap the, can move the whole project by tapping, we can move the whole project by tapping the menu button at the top right and hitting move and hit move. And then we can, it'll pull up our move interface.
So we can say where do we wanna put this? Let's see where we can put it. To inside of another project. So you see that as we go down into our projects, there's no place to move it. There's no button. That's okay, because we shouldn't move a project inside of another project.
That's not something you can do. But we can move it over here. Let's move it not only into my family, but into our Raleigh home. So I'm gonna move it here and just like that whole project is going to move. And sure enough, there is our last week's sale and we can open it up and there it is.
So you can move items, you can move projects. You can even move whole folders by going into navigation on the bottom left hand. Tapping on your account, you can say, I want to move our beach house somewhere else. I'd like to move that. So you tap on the action menu on the right hand side of the beach house and hit move, and you can decide where you wanna move it.
In fact, you can say I wanna move it to. Sunshine Estate sales. So we'll do that. We'll move our beach house all the way over here to Franchise one. We've sold our beach house to Sunshine Estate Sales, and then we can open that folder and sure enough, we have our beach house inside Sunshine Estate Sales.
So as easy as that you can move your folders, you can move your projects, and as we showed in another video. You can move your items. See you in the next video. I.
How to archive projects
Welcome to another Valuable How to Video in this video, very short one, we're going to show you how to clean up your projects and keep the, keep them clutter free. Keep your account clutter free without deleting your. Valuable data. So in this case I created a project called Last Week's Sale, and we used to have our 1 23 Middlefield Lane that you see in other projects.
And let's imagine that this last week's sale has a bunch of items. It doesn't, but it'll it'll serve the, its purpose right now. And I don't wanna have all these projects. I had to, I had a whole bunch of projects and I'm done with this last week's sale and I might be tempted to delete it, but I shouldn't because that's my data.
And that data can be really useful. Going forward and it doesn't cost me anything to keep it where it is. So we want that data in our account and we don't wanna delete it. So here we are in the project and imagine that we have a whole bunch of items in here, and we just want to get this out of the way because we've got other new sales to set up and run.
We want to keep that clean for everybody. So we're just gonna hit open on the projects and we're gonna hit and we're gonna tap. And we're going to, we can tap archive. Now, before I do that, here on details, you can see that the project status is active. So in active project status, it's going to show up in your project's, carousel.
You can just tap on active and decide to archive it. So instead of deleting the project, which you can do all of that data, all of those items, all of that great stuff will be gone forever. Instead you can just simply archive it here or from the menu button up at the top, so we'll hit archive and sure enough, now this has a nice little badge saying archived, and you can now leave this project and it's no longer there.
Or is it if you tap now on the if you tap on the, if now, if you now tap on the, if you now tap on the, if you tap on the magnifying glass at the top you'll see the projects finder. And in here we can, if you had a whole lot of projects, it's a pretty good way of finding them. You can also tap on date and that will pull up your filters.
Now in this case, fairly simple filter. You can filter on date, name up or down. And you can show archived. So now there it is. There's your archived project back from the dead, and you can go in and see everything that was in there. You can also open it up and tap on the archive button right there at the top.
And unarchive it. If you wanna bring it back to life, you can unarchive it from details. I think you can even unarchive it from menu. And all three of those things will do the same thing that will unarchive this project. And if you don't want to do that, you can go back and there it is. It's nice and clean as a whistle.
No archived projects until you choose to see them again. And that is archiving projects in valuable. Unless you want that data to go away forever, probably archiving is your better choice. Now, if you do wanna delete a project, you can here at the go into your project, tap on the menu button at the top right and you can see delete right there at the bottom of the screen, and you can delete that project and it'll go away.
But for now, we're gonna keep it because I'm sure it'll be useful in other videos. See you there. I.
How to move items from one folder or project to another
Welcome to another Valuable How to Video. In this video we are going to learn how to move items from one project to another, or one project folder to another, so that how we, here's how we in a previous video, we set up two accounts. We have our Sunshine Estate sales company that we belong to.
And but we've also set up our own personal family account that we pay for as individuals, whereas the shared account is paid for by. That company. There can be, you can have as many shared accounts as you like. And in this case, we're going to we want to get some, we want some items that are in another account and to put.
In this case, I have some items that I collected and have in this other account, so we wanna move them to my new Christmas box that I've set up for my family, because it turns out these items should be in my family. Account. So we have this frog, and let's call that a Christmas item. We can see what we have here.
Yeah. Let's just say all these are Christmas items. Christmas decorations. Of course they're not, but we can do that. So we're going to now move these items. Now we can move them one at a time by tapping on the menu button at the top right, and and saying move to folder. But right now I'm gonna show you how to do that with many items at the same time.
So we're gonna go into our project. 1, 2, 3, Middlefield Lane. Going to hit select, and then we're going to pick the items that we want to move, by the way, I should note that you can't do that with pictures. So when you're in the picture tab of your project and you try to move you can't, you can download them, you can share them, you can't move them.
'cause we move and manage items. So let me cancel that and try again. I'm gonna go into my items. I can look at them this way. I can select my items. I'm gonna say, oh yes, I want my Lego, my giraffe toy, and my. Hedwig Christmas decoration. Let's see if we have any other Christmas decorations here. Oh yes let's say the fruit basket and the gnome.
So those are our the items that we want to move to our different account and to our different folder. So we're going to tap the bottom round menu button. And you'll see we can download and share or we can move. So let's move that item. So we tap, move, and we can navigate. It's if you've ever used drive Google Drive or another folder system, you just use the breadcrumb up along the top and you say I don't wanna move it to the living room.
I want to go up. Oh, I don't want to go to the Middlefield lane. I wanna go up. Ah, okay, now I'm at the account level. I want to go to my family. And then I want to go to our Raleigh home, and sure enough, Christmas decorations are right there. Now, if I didn't know where all of this was, I can ha, I can tap search and I can say Christmas and sure enough, in fact, it even says Christmas box one or two.
And I in fact, want this to go right down into Christmas box one. So I'm going to tap on move here. Hit move.
And now we have those mo, those assets are moved. So now we can go all the way back from the account that was shared with us by a company to our personal account because we have move rights in both cases. And we had the right to move. We had the role, we had a group administrator role to, that allows us to move items.
Between folders, so now we can go there.
We can go to.
our project, and here we are in the project and we can look in our Christmas box. And what do you know there they all are 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. So they've all been moved from one location to the other. In the next video, we'll show you how to do the same thing with whole projects and even folders. See you there.
How to create an account:
Welcome to another Valuable How to Video. In this video, we're going to create our own account. Here's my user demo franchise one in this case we're part of Sunshine Estate Sales, so we have access to this Sunshine Estate sales account. And in here, as we've been showing in a variety of videos, we have a project in that account inside our. Franchise. So here we have Sunshine Estate Sales, and we have our franchise folder, and we have a project.
We can have lots of folders and projects, and we've done those in other videos too. But what if I wanted to have my own account that I paid for on my own, that was for some other business or for my family or something like that. I can do that. Let's do that right now. So here we have a we tap on the hamburger.
So here we have the hamburger button up in the left top corner next to the account, sunshine Estate Sales, and I'm gonna tap on that hamburger button and there's a button there that says I create my account. What does that mean? It means I can create my own account as opposed to just being part of somebody else's account.
Which we see up there. So I'm gonna tap that and I'm gonna say, this is my family account. And I can do that and I can organize my family account. I can say our Raleigh home
I could say. I could tap the plus button and I could say our beach house. We don't have a beach house, but say we did.
We're gonna hit next again. And here's very important, of course, AI instructions.
Now in this case, it's not for an estate sale company or an antique dealership. So I don't have a lot of AI instructions here, but I'm gonna say please. Set valuations for long. Term fair market value, something like that. You can say anything you like really. And here could invite members of my family, I can invite friends, anything I like, and I can then select their role. But we're gonna pass that now.
I think you get that idea. So now we're onto payment. And in this case, you don't have to pay a thing. You can buy credits for ai. As you go and you can start for free. And as it says, core features are free now always check the pricing page on valuable app to be sure of current rates and current policies, so here we're going to start free and we have created a new account. How fun. And you can see now I have my account settings, billing I can then manage members.
So let's do that. In fact, let's create a new member. So I'm gonna hit Plus and I'm going to invite my colleague, demo one at Valuable.
Got it.
And I'm going to give them group administrator role so they can add projects and folders and invite members themselves. And I'm gonna send that invite and now I'm gonna see that in pending. I can revoke that. I can resend it if they didn't get it, all the things you would expect. So that is setting up an account and inviting a new member to it and still having access to the account you were invited to.
So there's the account you were invited to, then you can switch back to your own account. You can go in and of course there's nothing in here yet, so you have to create a new project and we'll do that in the next video. I.
How to create your first project:
https://youtube.com/shorts/gdAMAyddAMg?feature=share
Welcome to another Valuable How to Video. In the previous video we showed, we, in the previous video, we looked at how to create a new account and and how to manage it and how to add members. And now I have my family account and I also have the account that at my work at Sunshine Estate Sales, I can switch over to that account.
I can tap the hamburger in the top, but, and go back to my family account. And as you can see, we don't have anything in this account yet. We can tap on the lower left hand navigation button and sure enough, the, I did set up two folders, our beach house and our Raleigh home. So we can go into our Raleigh home folder and I wanna create a project in here called Christmas Decorations. So I'm going to create that project here and I could, I'm gonna create that project here and say Christmas I.
Christmas decorations. I'm gonna hit next, and now I'm going to select. Our Raleigh home. So that's where I'm at, I'm gonna put it right here in, in our Raleigh home. I could decide, oh, I actually want it in the beach house, so I can select there as well.
But I'm gonna select our Raleigh home and I'm gonna add project folders. And in this case I can say I have three boxes. Christmas box
one. And I'll say two Christmas boxes.
You can really organize your folders however you like. So there's Christmas box one and Christmas box two. I'm gonna hit next here. We can choose a photo. So I'll look at my photo library for a good photo and I'll just use this, this giraffe. How's that? Now here I'm going to say my AI instructions are fairly simple.
We are a family. I'm gonna say value. Items. Based on market rates or Christmas decorations.
Am going to create my project now.
And again, I can invite team members. Now, important note, if you've already invited. Family members or team members to your pro, to your organization or your to your account as we did in the previous video. Then you don't have to add them again. You can just skip this and go on to your project and here we'll just go to.
Our Christmas decorations, and here we are in our Christmas decorations. That's how you set up a new project. See you in the next video.
How to create and manage folders inside projects:
https://youtube.com/shorts/hoRipoQefMw?feature=share
In this video, we're going to show you how to create folders inside a project. So any project you might have you wanna be able to organize your stuff. People do it differently. if you're in a estate sale company, you might have different rooms that you want to organize items into. So you can create a folder for that. In fact, you can create folders within folders. You can create a folder for a room, and then inside that you can create another folder for a closet and inside that, a drawer in the closet, et cetera, et cetera.
To do that, let's let's set up a new folder. Go into your,
open up, your project and you'll notice that we already have one folder called Living Room. We want to tap on the lower left hand nav button. And that looks like a folder. And sure enough, there's our Project, Middlefield Lane. And in here we're going to see that folder.
Now, valuable folders inside projects are special. You can put items into. Folders that are inside projects. We call them project sub folders. If you have a folder outside of a project that is organizing lots of projects,
you can't put items into those organizational folders, but you can inside the project. So we have organizational folders, projects. And project sub folders. And sure enough, here's our living room. So now we want to create another project sub folder next to living room. We're gonna call this one dining room.
So you tap on the little folder icon up at the, on the top right, and you hit new folder. You notice by the way, that if you were in an organizational folder, like franchise one here. You have both create a new project and create a new organ organizing folder.
But inside of a project, you only have one option, and that is to create a new folder. You can't create projects inside other projects. So here, we're just gonna call this dining room,
Now we have living room and dining room. And when we go back, we go in and we see that we have a living room still. And now we have living room and dining room. And there you go. And 📍 we can move items into those folders. As easy as this.
And that's it.
See you in the next video.
How to use the One-Shot Mode in the camera to take and save photos without engaging the AI or incurring costs:
https://youtube.com/shorts/ju1KW58-5qU?feature=share
this is a demo of the new one Shot feature for valuable pro. If you you can go into your project or in home, you hit the camera button and now we're in our familiar camera. And now we have a new slider called One Shot Mode. Now you'll notice that when I slide that over.
Okay,
You will see the it'll also slide over, save and continue taking photos. The requirement we got was that we want to have fast photo entry. And so putting that into this mode where you can take a picture, stay in the camera, take another picture, stay in the camera, et cetera, we slide that over.
If you turn one shot off, it turns off, so I'm gonna move it over. take a picture, take another picture. And when you leave, then you can x out of the camera and you'll see that those all three are in photo.
And we record the photo and the name it photo and the time that was taken. there's no other detail in here. And then if you wanna price it or do any other thing, then you would, you can later on.
Turn it into an inventory item, but if you just want to keep it as a quick photo with no particular information, that's fine. And then you can add that as a you can add them in, into to download and share as we do, download to gallery and or generate up the link and, and then, go to browsers or what have you. And that's it. That is the one shot camera.
This video, we're going to show you a new feature for reordering photos in your assets. So here we are in inventory. We're in a project we can see our list of inventory items. We can see 'em in a grid view and we can see them in photo view. Now, in photo view we can.
When we have multiple photos, we can see that one says Hero on the very left and the other does not. The hero image is the primary image, and it's always the first image in the list. So we can tap on this and see that we have really the, not the hero image in the top. Of the list.
So let's, we can tap on this one. Yeah, that's the one we want. We might wanna clean it up later with our magic retouch. But right now we're just gonna slide that up so you hold your thumb down on the item for, just a long press and then start sliding up and drop it. And now that is the hero.
And if we tap outta here, we'll notice that. Yep. Sure enough. The item is now the hero image is correct. We can also do that right here. If we wanted to switch it back, we could hold it down and switch it, hold it down, and switch it. And that works just fine. And that is the photo reordering process for.
Valuable. See you in the next video.
How to export to Excel for reporting with thumbnails
https://youtube.com/shorts/_kidldUFnkg?feature=share
welcome to another valuable how to video.
In this video, we're going to export your project items to an Excel spreadsheet.
Easy peasy. Say you have a client that you need to report to, and you have all these items in your project and you want to get them to your client.
Here we are in your valuable project, and we're going to hit select all. We can do this either in this mode or we can do it in the. Grid view mode. However, we can't do it in the picture mode because pictures aren't exported in the same way to excel.
However, in either of these two lists, we can do that. So here we're gonna just select again, we're gonna select all and we're selecting all the pictures.
Now if we wanna select all the pictures in all the folders in the project, we can do that too. And hit cancel. Hit the sort button which usually says date. And keep an eye on that show all items in Project Slider, we're gonna turn that on.
And now every item, no matter what folder it was in, is visible in the list. And we just hit select From here, select all, and then it's a matter of just simply hitting the right hand bottom menu button. And it says, export to Excel. And that's it.
Excel export has started and you're gonna get an email with the file when it's done,
Here we are in the email that we got after the export, and we just hit the download Excel file and there is our Excel file. We have all the Excel information, name, description, thumbnails, price, everything you need ready to open in your favorite spreadsheet program. And that's it. That is exporting your project to Excel in valuable. See you in the next video.
How to publish to estatesales.net quickly
Welcome back to another Valuable How to Video. In this video, we're gonna cover something really amazing for estate sale operators, and this is an update. So this is version 3.2 out, January 23rd, if you use estate sales.net, you're going to want to follow along on this.
So we are now in the estate sale, , project 1 33 Middlefield Lane, and we've covered setting up projects and other videos, now we want to get all these pictures into the state sales.net, right? And we don't want to have to spend. Hours of time writing descriptions for every single picture, just so that they can be found on the web, with good SEO.
We've solved that. So here we are. We've got a bunch of pictures. We could have hundreds of pictures in here and in different folders. Now we're going to hit publish and export, and we're gonna publish to estate sales.net. This is super simple. We're going to select the photos, prepare 'em, log into estate sales.net, tap upload, and we're good.
So we're gonna select all, and you can see that all the titles are already there. And if you don't like these titles for the description, make sure that you, edit them in the items before you upload them, which is super easy. And then hit next. You can review them, you can add overlays, that will burn the actual name of the item into the picture.
But for this, you don't need to do that for estate sales.net because we're gonna be adding those names into the description field and it's gonna show up. Anyway, but if you ever want to do that, you can hit next. Now here we can generate a sales description. So why don't we go ahead and do that. This is a fast way of getting your estate sale.
Overall description up quickly, you can edit it. And we put, at the bottom is a courtesy of the listing of all the items that you're going to put into that sale. So here it is. You can just copy it, you can mail that to somebody, you can email it, you can text it, or you can copy it in a minute.
So now scroll down to log in to your sale. And we're gonna log right in. And I've already logged in, so it's held onto that login. And I'm just gonna edit my sale if I wanted to add that, uh, description I can do that. I can go down here and. Edit my description I already have so I don't have to if I've forgotten to copy it, I can just hit copy summary up here and paste it right into the description field.
Head over to pictures. Now, this is where the magic happens. I already been doing this a lot, so I have 516 pictures that I've uploaded and we're gonna make some more. All you have to do this is it. This is the easiest thing. Hit the upload button and you'll see that there's a new selection upload via Valuable and you can still go into your photo library or your files, but I'm gonna hit upload via valuable and now I'm good.
The photos uploads is, is ready, it's happening. I'm gonna click okay. And now I could leave here. I could log out. I could get out of valuable altogether and it doesn't matter because. Right now behind the scenes valuable servers are uploading all of these pictures to estate sales.net and I'm gonna get an email when it's done.
Here we are in the email I received from, valuable it usually says Community at valuable, app.com. And you can just tap right into this and go straight into login to estate sales.net
and here we are back in the very listing that we uploaded all those photos to, and sure enough, they're all right here and we can go right in and look at the description. And the description is right there. Of course, you can edit it and reorder things, if you have multiple pictures of the same item as we do here with this item and this item. We we see that they are together because they're named the same. Of course, we can reorder them if we want but at least they start out grouped together so the pictures of the same item are going to be together.
So that's it. That's uploading to estate sales.net in minutes instead of hours. We hope you love this feature. If by chance the upload process to state sales.net does not work you will get an email with the files of all the pictures ready to go that you can upload in the traditional way, so you always have a backup to get your pictures on a state sales.net liquidity split with descriptions.
We hope you love it and we'll see you in the next video.
